United Soybean Board (USB) volunteer farmer-leaders administer soybean checkoff activities focused on research and market development. By building demand for biodiesel, soybean meal, soybean oil, soy exports and more, the soybean checkoff helps ensure a profitable future for American soybean farmers. The United Soybean Board has 78 members representing 29 States and the Eastern and Western regions. Each year, the Secretary of Agriculture appoints approximately one-third of all Board members for 3-year terms. Nominees must be nominated by a Qualified State Soybean Board. The Board’s office is located in Chesterfield, Missouri. Research will showcase the functionality and versatility of U.S. soybean oil specifically as it relates to high oleic soybean oil.
