How to stock prices work
The concept behind how the stock market works is pretty simple. Operating much like an auction house, the stock market enables buyers and sellers to negotiate prices and make trades. The stock market works through a network of exchanges — you may have heard of the New York Stock Exchange or the Nasdaq. Simply select the cells that contain the stock names/ticker symbols and navigate to the Data tab in the Excel Ribbon. Next click the Stocks button within the Data Types group. After click the Stocks button, Excel will attempt to convert as many of the selected cell’s values into stock data types.
